Well it's seem to level off (for now).  We have reached record high prices, and who knows what will happen over the summer.  The current price at our local service station is at $4.05 p/gal.  This averages to $18.27 per trip to the airport in fuel alone and $26.72 total in direct fees and fuel cost per airport transfer.   Even with our Camry Hybrid sedan our direct cost to provide airport transportation is averaging $16.02.  The direct fees are trip fees we pay to the major airports, and the higher commercial rate tolls we pay for the tunnels. 

The current flat rate service charge is $26.00 each way for all vehicles except our Camry Hybrid which is $16.00.  Unfortunately this will increase if fuel prices go over $4.25 p/gal.  We truly understand that no one likes to pay more than they have to and we will try to maintain our rates as long as possible.  

Effective 6/2/08 to assist in keeping our flat rate transfers rates as low as possible, we have instituted an 10% fuel surcharge to our hourly rates, proms & wedding packages.  The Camry Hybrid sedan hourly rates will only be charged a 5% fuel surcharge.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE FEES WILL NOT TO BE INCLUDED IN CALCULATING THE GRATUITY.  These fees are being added to assist in recouping our costs associated with providing transportation.

  $  80.00 LOGAN AIRPORT TRANSFER – SEDAN
  $  16.00 GRATUITY 20%
  $  26.00 AFT FEE (AIRPORT, FUEL & TOLL)
  $122.00 TOTAL

EXAMPLE:
 $260.00 4 HOUR RENTAL - 8 PASSENGER LIMOUSINE
 $  52.00 GRATUITY 20%
 $  26.00 FUEL SURCHARGE 10%
 $338.00 TOTAL

Please understand that we apologize for these added charges.   We have taken other measures to keep our rates as low as possible, but this was the most appropriate way to recoup the losses of higher fuel costs.  We will continue to keep you informed as fuel prices fluctuate.
